Key Responsibilities:
- Overview:
As a Holiday/Seasonal Receiving/Merchandise Processing Associate, you will be an integral part of Macy's ability to maintain our high service and presentation standards during the fast-paced holiday season. You will have the opportunity to work a flexible schedule on a temporary basis, including weekends and busy events such as the day after Thanksgiving and the day after Christmas.
While all holiday positions require working as part of a team to meet department and store objectives, your individual responsibilities will focus on the timely execution of the receiving process including unloading trucks, sorting, staging and delivering merchandise receipts to the floor for placement, ensuring floor readiness by store opening, keeping the selling floor stocked with merchandise, and organizing the selling floor and stock areas. Key Accountabilities:
• Assist unloading, sorting, staging and categorizing of merchandise
• Plan and execute movement of merchandise to the processing area
• Ensure security tagging of merchandise as required
• Daily hanger collection and sorting
• Collection of damaged merchandise from designated areas
• Collection of trash from the selling floor
• Provide support for major sales events
• Assist with special projects as needed

• Available to work a flexible schedule, which may include early morning, evening, and weekend hours
